We built the infrastructure layer that compliance was missing.
ComplianceGrid is a developer-first API platform connecting your applications to authoritative government data — from OFAC sanctions screening to FDA import alerts, FMC ocean freight filings, and beyond. One API key. Every source.
Government data is fragmented, slow, and developer-hostile.
Every regulated industry runs on government data — but accessing it means wrangling hundreds of agency portals, inconsistent formats, weekly bulk exports, and brittle direct integrations that break without warning. The status quo forces compliance teams to rebuild the same pipelines over and over, accept stale data, and pay enterprise vendors for black-box systems they can't control.
ComplianceGrid changes that. We maintain live, versioned connections to 200+ government data sources across 12 regulatory verticals. We normalize the data. We expose it through clean REST APIs with predictable response shapes, comprehensive documentation, and SLA-backed uptime. You build. We handle the government.
12 Regulatory Verticals. 200+ Data Sources.
Every API follows the same authentication, pagination, and error patterns.
Built by logistics and compliance engineers who were tired of building the same thing twice.
ComplianceGrid started as an internal tool. We were building freight forwarding automation for enterprise logistics operators and kept hitting the same wall: the government data layer. Every shipper, every freight forwarder, every customs broker was writing the same integration code — scraping the OFAC SDN list, polling the FMCSA SAFER database, checking the FDA import alert feed — and none of it was reliable or real-time.
So we built the layer that was missing. A maintained, versioned, developer-friendly interface to the government data that the logistics, trade, and compliance industries run on. After six months of internal use and zero downtime, we decided to make it available to everyone building in regulated spaces.
ComplianceGrid is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. We are a self-funded company with deep roots in enterprise logistics technology and government data infrastructure.
What we stand for
Government-Grade Reliability
When compliance checks fail, shipments get held, transactions get blocked, and regulators take notice. We treat every API call as if business continuity depends on it — because it does. 99.9% uptime SLA, not aspirational.
Developer Respect
Your time is too valuable to spend decoding inconsistent government data formats. We normalize everything. We version every change. We never break a working integration without 90 days of notice.
Transparency by Default
Our status page is public. Our changelog is public. Our SLAs are contractual. When something breaks, you'll know before your users do — with full incident timelines and root cause analyses.
